Boot Drive

On Saturday, June 20th, members of the Company participated in a Boot Drive. We would like to thank all the members of the public who donated to Eagle Hose. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. Stay tuned to our website - in the fall we will have an Open House where you will be invited to tour the firehouse, look inside the fire trucks, and enjoy free hot dogs, snacks and refreshments. This is just our way of saying thanks for being so generous.

While members were participating in the Boot Drive, the Chief Driver stopped by and repaired the passenger's side seatbelt in Truck 7. He even had a supervisor watching over him to make sure everything went well.

Thanks to all who helped out today. We couldn't have done it without you!!!

Jim Ehman Testimonial Picnic

Saturday, June 6

On Saturday, June 6th, Eagle Hose hosted a Testimonial Picnic in honor of Past Chief Jim Ehman. Dozens of people turned out on a beautiful afternoon to pay tribute to a man who has dedicated 36 years of his life to this community. That in and of itself is an amazing feat in this day and age, but what makes it even more astounding is the fact that 26 of those years were spent in some sort of leadership role within the Department. In a world that seems to grow more self-centered, Chief Ehman is a great example of someone who puts the needs of others ahead of his own. Thanks for all you have done Chief! Your service is greatly appreciated!!!

Possible Structure Fire

Tuesday, June 2nd

The initial dispatch reported heavy smoke coming from the rear of a home on Hubbell and Sixth Street. Multiple calls were received, but when we arrived on scene we found nothing. So that's what we have for photos - nothing - but we have to post something to keep the site fresh. So here are two photos from the incident.

Past Captain's & Old Timer's Night

From a historical perspective, one of the highlights of the evening was the realization that we had five Past Chiefs from the Eagle Hose in attendance.

Pictured from Left to Right: Past Chief Howie Williams, Past Chief Jim Ehman, Current Asst. Chief Ed Adamowski, Past Chief Don Seccombe, Past Chief Jack Thomson, Jr. and Past Chief Fred Tanner.
