Square Peg, Round Hole....

Do you remember the kid in kindergarten who always tried to jam the square peg into the round hole? Well, he is all grown up and now tries to squeeze a big red firetruck into very tight quarters. A recent drill night in was spent on Walker Court, a "road" which is normally a tight fit for a Honda. Chief Driver John D'Antona squeezed the truck down Walker Court and members were able to extend the ladder and reach three of the four homes located at the end of the road. Residents of Walker Court spent the evening watching the drill in the sweltering heat.

This year's Memorial Day Parade turned out to be a memorable event for Eagle Hose. The recently refurbished Parade Carriage made its return to this annual event. The carriage had been missing from the parade for several years during its restoration, and she was finally able to be on display for all to see. We also enjoyed a great turnout from the membership with 33 members taking part in the parade..

Thanks to all the members who turned out to march in this year's Memorial Day Parade. You helped to make this event a unforgettable one!!!
